HOME-START
PERTH
|
Home-Start Perth is a voluntary home visiting scheme working throughout Perth and Kinross offering emotional and practical support to families experiencing difficulties with at least one child under 5 years, in the privacy of their own home, by using solely, carefully trained parent volunteers.
Who can Home-Start help?
If you are a mum, dad or carer with a child under five, and are finding things tough at the moment, you can ask for help.
We help parents going through difficult times including:
Loneliness and isolation
Relationship
problems
Coping with
twins, triplets or several pre-school children
Ill health,
disability or special needs
Lone parenting
First-time
parenthood or new babies
Postnatal
illness
Children's
behavioural problems
Who are the volunteers?
Home-Start volunteers are people from different backgrounds and vary in age, but all have parenting experience.
Home-Start volunteers are all ages and from all walks of life. All that we ask of you is that you have experience of bringing up children and can spare between two and four hours a week.
