Team PKAVS Win Gold
Staff at PKAVS are launching new T-shirts in time for their participation in The Great Scottish Walk on Sunday 25th May 2008.
A team of twenty walkers from PKAVS’ staff, supporters and Peter Vardy car dealership in Perth will be showing-off the T-shirts, sponsored by local company Gumbi Gear©, in a 12 mile sponsored walk through the cityscape of Glasgow. Now in their tenth year, The Great Scottish Walks raise in excess of £1million for 200 charities across Scotland every year.
PKAVS Marketing & Development Coordinator Helen MacKinnon explained: “We felt that The Great Scottish Walk would offer the perfect opportunity to invest in our first branded T-shirts. Local designer, Chris Wain of Waingroove Designs and designer clothing company Gumbi Gear© came on board to support us and the finished product looks fantastic.”
“This is PKAVS’ first year taking part in The Walk so we have set ourselves a modest fundraising target of £2,000. It’s fantastic to see staff getting so involved in fundraising and we’re grateful to have the support of family, friends and staff from Peter Vardy.”
You can sponsor the PKAVS team by contacting Helen on 01738 567076 or by dropping into the Gateway, North Methven Street, Perth.
