Help us to help others
Thousands of the most disadvantaged in our communities rely
on us for help, but we cannot do this without your support.
With most charities, you can only support one cause or one
group of people, but with PKAVS you can do so much more.
PKAVS is a charity that helps thousands of local people including
the elderly and disabled, those recovering from mental illness,
carers and even children who look after a seriously ill or
disabled parent or sibling.
This is as well as helping find funding and volunteers for
other local charities!

This is how you can change a life |
|
Amy does not have an easy life; she is the
sole carer for her ill Mum. However, through our young carers’
project, we help her with school, in the home and with social
activities to make sure she receives the support she deserves. |

You can make a difference by giving

there are so many like her relying on us.
Please help us to help others; there
are hundreds who need you to.

The payment will be processed by Charities Aid Foundation
using the high security Pay Pal system.
If you would rather give by cheque, they should be made payable
to PKAVS and posted to us at The Gateway, North Methven Street,
Perth, PH1 5PP.
If you’re a tax payer, remember Gift Aid! By stating
that you’re a taxpayer, we can claim an extra 28% of
your donation. If you give £5, the tax man will add
another £1.40 meaning PKAVS gets £6.40!
To become a regular donor and give using a standing order,
please contact Lorna Ower or on 01738 567076

£500 For You & A Donation Doubled For Us
You can also donate to PKAVS through your employer’s
payroll. Not only is the gift aid added automatically (another
28% at least) but the government can also double your donation!!!
|
 |
Ask if your employer is signed up. The organisation
(company or charity) can also receive up to £500 from the
government if they are so do ask! If you want to know more
about payroll giving, contact Lorna Ower or on 01738 567076.

The Benefits of Payroll Giving
If you work for an organisation that has less than 500 employees,
your company can receive £300, £400 or 500 if
they sign up to payroll giving. This is awarded by the Home
Office of the UK Government.
Plus! The Government will also double any donation up to
the value of £10 made by an employee of an organisation
with less than 500 employees. And they will do this for 6
months.
Employees can give to any charitable organisation or church
and the donation is taken from their payslip by whoever does
the payroll. This is then sent to Charities Aid Foundation
add the Gift Aid and double it before passing it to the relevant
charity.
If you gave £5 each month, £12.80
would be given to charity. Fantastic! Your company can even
decide to give part or all of its £500 to charity.
