Help us to help others!

PKAVS is a remarkable charity, not only for the work it does helping others, but also for how it raises funds. Without spending a penny, you can help us to raise hundreds of £s for PKAVS!

With most charities, you can only support one cause or one group of people, but with PKAVS you can do so much more. Our charity helps thousands of local people every year, including the elderly and disabled, those recovering from mental illness, carers and even children who look after a seriously ill or disabled parent or sibling. This is as well as helping other local charities and community groups to be stronger.

Fundraising is essential to the continuation and enhancement of our services. Throughout the year, we hold various fundraising events, as well as linking up with local businesses and people in the community who want to help raise funds for us.

If you feel able to give a donation, large or small, we would be very grateful. The easiest way to donate is online by clicking the Donate to PKAVS logo on the right of this page, or alternatively, click on How to Donate on the left.

To discuss donating to PKAVS or any fundraising ideas you may have, contact contact our Marketing & Development Manager, Helen MacKinnon on 01738 567076.

Thank you for your generosity and support, and for helping PKAVS to change lives.

This is how easily you can change a life ...

Amy does not have an easy life; she is the sole carer for her ill Mum. Through PKAVS' Young Carers Project, we help her with school, in the home and with social activities to make sure she receives the support she deserves. A donation of just £10 would provide a one-to-one support session for Amy, where she can talk to our Support Worker and take part in an activity of her choice.

Wisecraft Wisecraft is PKAVS' community-based mental health service in Blairgowrie. It runs a craft shop selling unique gifts carefully handcrafted by our clients who are recovering from severe mental health conditions. Wisecraft provides a safe and supportive environment for recovery and opportunities to develop new skills in arts & crafts and joinery.  A donation of just £20 would buy enough clay to supply Wisecraft's pottery activities for a whole month.
Shopmobility
Every year, over 600 people with mobility problems access PKAVS' Shopmobility project for support. We lend out electric scooters and manual wheelchairs to help individuals access local shops and town facilities and retain their independence. A donation of just £50 would keep one of our scooters running for a whole year, during which time it would be used over 250 times!
