Volunteering opportunities

Make a Difference

The Volunteer Centre is in contact with hundreds of organisations and we can find the perfect volunteering opportunity for you. Volunteering can be extremely rewarding and you can meet new friends and learn new skills. If you’ve got a couple of hours to spare, make a difference with it and volunteer.
1.5 million adults in Scotland volunteer time and talents to help others. Volunteers do an amazing job helping some of the most disadvantaged in our communities. This is what some of them say:

“I love it. You get a real buzz from helping people and knowing that you are making things better. Plus I’ve got the odd hour to spare.”
“I really enjoyed learning new things and meeting new people. It was great fun too.”

“I chose hospital radio and volunteered for around four years - two or three evenings a week.
It built my confidence, was highly rewarding and undoubtedly led me to my career.”
