Wisecraft is a crafts shop & gifts gallery
in Blairgowrie, Pedrthshire, and is bursting with beautifully
hand-crafted items.
Everything in the gallery has been made by
people who have severe and/or enduring mental ill health.
Wisecraft offers training in various craft techniques
including woodwork, metal work, jewellery making, soft
furnishings and painting. The result is some remarkable pieces
which then become available for sale in our gallery.
Wisecraft also aims to be environmentally
aware and mainly uses recycled goods when creating works.

Helping Others by Helping Yourself

People who have suffered mental ill health
can face great difficulties finding employment and they can
easily become isolated. Being excluded from the community
makes it even more difficult to recover from mental ill health.
Securing and maintaining a job has consistently been shown
as key to emotional wellbeing, boosting confidence and self-
esteem. We help people learn new skills and providing
meaningful work and training can really help recovery and a
return to a fuller life.

immeasurable, and sales from their work help keep the project
