Groups, Day Trips and Residentials

We run a variety of groups, day trips and residentials to give Young Adult Carers the opportunity to spend time and socialise with other young adult carers. It is important Young Adult Carers get respite and the groups and trips we deliver enable young adult carers to take a break from their caring role.

Groups

We run small weekly groups at our Carers Hub (Lewis Place, North Muirton) and at the PKAVS Gateway Centre in the centre of Perth. We are looking at branching out to other areas of Perth and Kinross – keep checking the page for updates! The groups involve a range of activities including quizzes, pizza and movie nights, baking/cooking, arts and crafts, games night – the list goes on! We welcome any activity ideas from our Young Adult Carers!

Day Trips

Our day trips run throughout the year and we try to ensure everybody gets to attend a day trip doing something they enjoy! Examples of previous day trips include outdoor activities, theme parks, museums and escape rooms!

Residentials

We run one to two residentials every year! These have included overnight stays at outdoor activity centres in Scotland.
