Under the new legislation, Adult Carers have the right to an Adult Carer Support Plan (age 18+) and Young Carers have the right to a Young Carer Statement (age 5-18). Having these support plans in place may give you the opportunity to access a wider range of services and support that may not be available without an ACSP or YCS. Your Young Adult Carers support worker can help you complete the support plan and set some personal outcomes.
