Day and Residential Trips

Residential and day trips are an important part of the annual young carers calendar. During the school holidays some young carers get the chance to take time out from their caring role, meet other young carers and have fun. As well as providing a break from caring they can be fantastic experiences that create lovely memories for life and confidence in new situations and socialising away from home.

An annual programme is organised based on need and supported by external funding. Places are allocated based on individual carers situations and prioritised for those with little or no respite / opportunities for short breaks and outings.
