Event Description

The National Day for Older People is an annual event held at the beginning of October which seeks to celebrate the huge contribution older people make to families and communities. It promotes the opportunities for older people to lead full, active and productive lives whatever their age.

The 2022 event is officially Silver Sunday on 2nd October. Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership are arranging a Drop-in Event for older people, their carers and families in the Salvation Army Halls, South Street, Perth on Monday 3rd October from 11am to 2pm.

The Drop In provides a space for you to speak with services and collect information:

Armed Forces, Centre for Inclusive Living, Elder Voices, Foot Care, Housing, Live Active Leisure, NHS Tayside. Perth Welfare Society, Police Scotland, Royal Voluntary Services, Safer Community Wardens, Scottish Fire Service and Rescue, St Johnstone, Telecare Services, Treating People as Equals, Vision Care & Many more!
