Family Friendly Employer Nomination!

We are delighted to announce that PKAVS has been named a finalist in the Best Third Sector Employer Category in the 2018 Scottish Top Employers for Working Families Awards!

The awards put the spotlight on the organisations in Scotland that recognise the importance of family-friendly and flexible working.

Our achievements and practices include becoming the first charity in Perth & Kinross to be certified as a Scottish Living Wage employer, gaining Carers Positive Exemplary status, our policies offering flexible working hours and parental leave arrangements. We offer many of our positions on a job-share basis and additionally, where appropriate, offer home working – an invaluable option for parents who find themselves unable to make last-minute childcare arrangements.

The winner will be announced on 22nd March!
