Peer Support Group for Bereaved Carers

February 12th 2021, By pkavs

Did you know we are hosting a Peer Support Group for Bereaved Carers?

The Bridge Project is for carers who have lost their loved one or their loved one has gone into a full time care.

This can be a devastating time and peer support can be very helpful to deal with grief, increase wellbeing and bring positive meaning to life. The Bridge Project is a peer support group, however we sometimes invite guest speakers from organisations such as Cruse to discuss the further emotional support they can provide. Sometimes we also have quizzes, relaxation, arts & crafts, high tea and much more.

You will find a calendar of meetings here:

Come along to one of our sessions to see if this is for you. If not, perhaps we can find an alternative. The Bridge Project can help make meaningful connections with others that are experiencing similar situation.
