Leave a Legacy

Lots of people want to help others, we often donate to charities close to our hearts through one-off or monthly donations but don’t always consider leaving a gift in our will; perhaps we think it is complicated or it simply doesn’t cross our minds.

Whether you are putting together a will for the very first time or updating an older one, leaving a gift to a PKAVS in your will is straightforward.

Leaving a legacy to PKAVS is one of the most effective and long-term ways to ensure that we can continue to improve the lives of thousands of people throughout Perth & Kinross.

There are three main ways that you can leave a gift in your will:

  • a share of your estate (residuary legacy)
  • a specific sum (pecuniary legacy)
  • a specific item

If you would like an informal discussion about leaving a gift in your will then don’t hesitate to call 01738 567076 and ask for the Fundraising Department who will be happy to provide more information and advice.

PKAVS also has a helpful document that we can send over to you to explain more about the process of leaving a gift to PKAVS in your will. We would be happy to send one out to you, just call the number above or email us at fundraising@pkavs.org.uk.
