PKAVS Loneliness Consultation

Loneliness and social isolation are associated with a reduced lifespan equal to someone smoking 15 cigarettes per day - and greater than someone with obesity. Loneliness is also linked to an increased risk of heart disease, dementia, anxiety, depression, addiction, and suicide.

PKAVS has a valued team of over 80 staff and 100 volunteers whose skills and expertise enable us to reach our objectives and have the positive impact that we do.
