Healthy Lifestyles

(Available at Wisecraft and The Walled Garden)

Studies evidence the importance of how an active and healthy lifestyle positively contribute to our overall wellbeing and quality of life. Across both Wisecraft and The Walled Garden we provide weekly yoga, pilates and gentle stretching exercises; all of which are encouraged to become part of your daily life, not just during your time with us. During these sessions relaxation/breathing techniques are practiced to help calm even the most anxious mind. We also plan group walks to various locations, which are an excellent way to open up conversations away from your regular surroundings.

Throughout the year our Healthy Lifestyle Department provides workshops for all clients on subjects such as smoking cessation, stress and anxiety, loneliness, sleep behaviour, self-esteem and confidence, and personal care. We take an holistic approach to mind-body wellness – a happy body, a happy mind.

Although our work is mainly focused around group activity, our Healthy Lifestyle Engagement Worker will be able to provide you with some 1-1 time to focus on topics such as your nutrition, stress levels, exercise, self-love and sleep.
