Volunteer for PKAVS

PKAVS relies on over 100 dedicated volunteers who help with all aspects of our work. From driving minibuses, helping with an arts and crafts session, lending a friendly ear to someone in need, taking a group of Young Carers on a wilderness adventure, or helping behind the scenes!

There are many reasons why people volunteer and the benefits are vast - not just for you, but for the people you help. PKAVS volunteers gain new experiences and learn skills whilst making a valuable difference to their local community.

Flexible Fundraising

Would you like to do a bit of volunteering, meet new people, and help raise vital funds for a fantastic local cause, but can't commit to a certain time each week? If so, then we'd love to hear from you! You will receive update on one-off opportunities such as charity bag packs, fun events, charity collections, and more. If you'd like to be added to our 'Flexible Fundraiser' list, please email fundraising@pkavs.org.uk or call 01738 567076.

Day Club Volunteers - Blairgowrie, Crieff, and Perth

Our Carers Hub are always looking for volunteers to help in the Day Clubs, which give respite to unpaid Carers by looking after their family member, usually an elderly relative, for one day a week. Volunteers assist setting up the facilities, preparing teas and coffees, serving lunch, helping with activities and socialising with the Day Club users. You can give anything from a few hours or a full day. Hours are flexible and can fit around your other commitments. Volunteers should have a good sense of humour and be proactive, but no experience is required. To find out more contact laura.mckenzie@pkavs.org.uk
