Complementary Therapy Voucher Scheme

This scheme is now closed for new referrals.

With effect of Friday 27 June 2025, we will no longer issue CTVS vouchers. However, there will still be many vouchers in circulation until end June 2026 and they will be honoured until their expiry date.

If you have valid Complementary (complimentary) Therapy Vouchers to use, you can view the current Approved Providers List (APL) below.

Our APL details all of our approved therapists and lists the variety of different complementary therapies that area available for carers.

Wee Treats

Wee Treats is a promise to pay scheme which commences on 1st July 2025.

“Wee Treats” will take the form of 4x £50 promise to pay vouchers, issued to carers who meet the criteria, with an expiry date.  Carers will have full autonomy to choose what and where they use their promise to pay vouchers for, be it at the hairdresser, having a manicure or to continuing receiving their chosen complementary therapy from their CTVS therapist.

A test of change for “Wee Treats” will take place for 6 months, starting on July 1st 2025.

It is hoped that that this more accessible scheme will provide greater personal choice for carers and that it will be welcomed by carers and businesses alike.

For carers who do not meet the criteria but previously had therapy vouchers, there are alternative funding available to help them continue to access these therapies via the Short Breaks Team.

If you are a business looking to receive payment for a voucher redeemed with you, please visit our dedicated online form using the link below, complete the requested information which will allow us to pay you for the service provided.

We aim to pay all vouchers within 10 working days.

If you have a question that is not answered in the Wee Treats FAQs document above, please contact Anne Wright at the Short Breaks Team via the carers centre or email weetreats@pkavs.org.uk

You can view a list of business who will accept your voucher below.
